Hi, Nicole. This is a little behind the scenes info on this project, to provide some context for you to enjoy the imagery more closely.

MEGT is an Australian not-for-profit organisation that provides employment, training and education solutions. The brief was to produce a dynamic suite of images to be utilised by the marketing department; to increase brand awareness through promo materials and printed collateral, as well as for the company’s website and targeted social media use.

We arranged to shoot with the art director and designer on a building site and on campus with trainers and apprentices. These locations were both really busy, so it took some creative invention and flexibility to capture scenes that had the space and interest to use for promo materials. Also, the subjects were not models. They were educators and tradies and office staff. So it took time to build trust and direct them to be at ease in front of the camera. The client wanted inclusive images featuring interactions between employers and apprentices, as well as workroom and construction site textures.
